Welcome to my webpage...caution, under construction!
Hello, my name is Jillisa Overholt (although I usually go by Jill). I am currently a PhD Candidate and Visiting Lecturer at Indiana University, studying Leisure Behavior. My area of specialization is Outdoor Recreation and Human-Natural Environment Interactions. My research interests include outdoor adventure education, environmental identity, symbolic interaction and role theory, relationships, and the health benefits of time spent outside. In addition to working on my dissertation, I am an assistant instructor for the Colorado Outward Bound School, and teaching full time in the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Studies at IU.
